เมื่อวันที่ 27 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 โรงเรียน Newlands College จัดพิธีลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงทางวิชาการ (MOU) ระหว่างโรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญ โดย ภราดา ดร.อาวุธ ศิลาเกษ ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญ กับ โรงเรียน Newlands College เมือง Wellington ประเทศ New Zealand โดย Ms. Deb Mills รองผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียน และ ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายนักเรียนในต่างประเทศ มีภราดาพัชรปกรณ์ ลังบุบผา รองผู้อำนวยการ ลงนามเป็นพยาน หลังจากนั้น Ms.Deb Mills รองผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียน และผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายนักเรียนในต่างประเทศ และ Ms.Sacha Waller ผู้ดูแลนักเรียนในต่างประเทศ พาเยี่ยมชมโรงเรียน
สำหรับความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่าง โรงเรียน Newlands College กับ โรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญ ในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ดังนี้
1. เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในการจัดการเรียนการสอนสำหรับนักเรียนโรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญ ในโครงการแลกเปลี่ยน AC International Partnership Exchange Program เปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนได้มีโอกาสไปเรียนต่อที่ โรงเรียน Newlands College
2. เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในการแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมสำหรับนักเรียนโรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญ ในโครงการแลกเปลี่ยน Cultural Exchange Program
3. เพื่อส่งเสริมการจัดการเรียนรู้หลักสูตรระยะสั้น สำหรับนักเรียนและครูโรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญ
โรงเรียน Newlands College ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี ค.ศ. 1970 เป็นอีกหนึ่งโรงเรียนมัธยมที่น่าสนใจของประเทศ New Zealand เปิดสอนนักเรียนชายหญิงในหลักสูตร NZQA เป็นโรงเรียนที่เหมาะกับนักเรียนต่างชาติในการไปหาประสบการณ์ และพัฒนาภาษาอังกฤษเป็นอย่างยิ่ง และถือเป็นโรงเรียนที่มีชื่อเสียงในระดับดีทางด้านวิชาการ นอกจากนั้นยังมีการเรียนการสอนในหลักสูตรต่าง ๆ มากมายนอกเหนือจากวิชาหลัก ๆ ทั่วไป เช่น สาขาวิชาการถ่ายภาพ สาขาวิชาการจัดการการท่องเที่ยว สาขาวิชาแฟชั่น ฯลฯ

Signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Newlands College, New Zealand
On February 27, 2025, Newlands College held a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Assumption College, represented by Brother Dr. Arwut Silaket, Director of Assumption College, and Newlands College, Wellington, New Zealand, represented by Ms. Deb Mills, Deputy Principal of Newlands College and International Student Director. Brother Patcharapakorn Langbubpha, Deputy Director of Assumption College, also signed as a witness. During the visit, we were given a tour of the school, with Ms. Deb Mills, Deputy Principal of Newlands College and International Student Director, and Ms. Sacha Waller, Dean of International Students, serving as guides.
The academic collaboration between Newlands College and Assumption College has the following objectives:
1. To promote cooperation in teaching and learning for students through AC International Partnership Exchange Program, which provides opportunities for students to study at Newlands College.
2. To promote cultural exchange for students through the Cultural Exchange Program.
3. To promote the implementation of short-term learning courses for students and teachers in Assumption College.
Newlands College was established in 1970 and is a renowned state coeducational secondary school located in the Wellington, New Zealand. Offering the NZQA curriculum, the school is also well-known for its strong academic reputation. In addition to the core subjects, the school offers various programs in fields such as photography, tourism management, fashion, and more.
