อัลบั้ม : 2188 ‘Activity Day’ to mark the end of a highly successful Summer Preparation Course

On Friday 4^th May, students from Years 1, 4, 7 and 10 came together in the auditorium of the Trinity Building of Assumption College English Program school for an ‘Activity Day’ concert to mark the end of the Summer Preparation Course.

As this was another important day in the new school’s short history, parents were also invited to watch their sons and daughters perform.

The ‘Activity Day’ commenced with the parents and students joining together to sing the school song, “Glorify Assumption”. By the volume and enthusiasm of the singing it was clearly evident that the Summer Preparation Course has been a great step in building a spirit and bond between the students of the new Assumption College English Program school.

Parents were warmly welcomed by the event’s MCs Miss Siriporn Srisomwong (Assistant Head of Primary School English Program), Master Sompoch Posinsomwong (Head of Student Welfare) and Mr. Marcin Kempka (Assistant Head of School) before the Director of Assumption College, Brother Anant Prichavudhi was invited to speak. Bro. Anant highlighted the success of the Summer Preparation Course and thanked students, parents and teachers for their commitment to help make the new school a success.

Following the opening speeches, the audience was treated to a wide variety of performances from students from all of the school’s Year levels (Year 1, Year 4, Year 7 and 10). The performance groups varied in size from almost 120 Year 1 students who sang three songs in English and Chinese, to smaller groups performing dances, singing songs and playing musical instruments. Some students even performed musical solos.

Following the 16 performances, the Summer Preparation Course students were presented with certificates of completion for attending the course before being provided with a lunch in the school’s canteen.

Thank you to all families of the new Assumption College English Program school for helping to make the Summer Preparation Course a success. The teachers and administrators hope that our students enjoy their holidays and look forward to meeting them again for the beginning of Term 1 on Monday 21^st May, 2012.

พิธีมอบเกียรติบัตร และ Activity Day จบการศึกษาภาคฤดูร้อน โรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญหลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษ

เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 4 พฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2555ภราดา ดร.อานันท์ ปรีชาวุฒิ ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญ และ ภราดาพิสูตร วาปีโส ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญหลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษ ได้มอบเกียรติบัตรให้กับนักเรียนทุกคนที่ได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในคอร์สเตรียมความพร้อมผู้เรียน ณ ห้องประชุมอเนกประสงค์ ชั้น 1 อาคาร The Trinityโรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญหลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษ จ.สมุทรสาคร

ในวันเดียวกันนี้ จัดเป็น Activity Day ด้วย นักเรียนทุกระดับชั้นได้แสดงความสามารถตามที่ตนเองถนัด เช่น การเล่นเปียโน และกีต้าร์ ทั้งในรูปแบบเดี่ยว และเล่นเป็นวงดนตรี การร้องเพลงไทย อังกฤษ และจีน รวมทั้งการเต้น โดยเป็นการแสดงแบบนานาชาติ ทั้งภาษาไทย ภาษาอังกฤษ ภาษาจีน และภาษาเกาหลี นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการจัดแสดงผลงานนักเรียน โดยทางโรงเรียนได้เชิญท่านผู้ปกครองเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมดังกล่าวนี้ด้วย มีผู้ปกครองสนใจเข้าร่วมเป็นจำนวนมาก ภายหลังกิจกรรมเสร็จสิ้น โรงเรียนเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดเลี้ยงอาหารกลางวันผู้ปกครอง นักเรียน และครู

กิจกรรมนี้ถือเป็นกิจกรรมที่เปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนได้แสดงออกในความสามารถของตน เพื่อเป็นการสร้างความภาคภูมิใจให้เกิดกับผู้เรียนทั้งทางด้านความสามารถทางด้านการเรียน และความสามารถพิเศษเฉพาะตน
