EP-M5 class of Mr. Mitchell Bergstresser started making terrariums. A terrarium is a small unit for living things that dwell on land. It can be simply defined as a self-sustaining natural terrain/ecosystem inside a lidded glass jar.
Some of the students brought their own terrarium materials but most of the materials needed to build terrarium such as: jars, plants, pebbles, sand and soil were provided by Assumption through our Lab Assistant, Ms. Grace.
The terrariums will be monitored by the students until the plants and animals well adapted to their new environment. The students will be encouraged to beautify and maintain their terrariums with the guidance of their teacher and the science lab assistant. This will be a long-time project approved by the EP Head of Science.
